Guitar & Bass Lessons

CMS Guitar & Bass Teachers are all accomplished musicians with years of experience. They’re dedicated to nurturing your talent and helping you reach your full potential in a way that suits you best. You’ll receive individualised attention which will be tailored to how you learn. We know that some students learn best by ear, whereas others prefer to read Tab or Notation. We are open to all learning styles and techniques and our teachers have a comprehensive knowledge of technique as well as repertoire. Electric, Classical, Acoustic, Folk, Slide, Rock, Funk – to name just a few styles you can learn with us. We also teach Ukulele and Banjo.

If you’re interested in sitting Guitar Exams, we are conversant with a large range of exam boards, including LCM, Trinity, Rock School, ABRSM and RGT.

Our music school’s professional facilities, include practice rooms, recording studios, and an extensive library of sheet music and resources. You’ll have access to the tools you need to excel.

CMS have a range of adult and child sized Guitars to hire at a very competitive rate, so you can try the instrument out first before committing to a more expensive purchase.
