Financial assistance available for the beginner’s course at the Contemporary Music School.
C.M.S has been allocated funding in order to provide musical tuition to anyone wishing to learn a musical instrument, the list of instruments that are available is featured on the Home page.
These funds are designed to encourage individuals who want to pick up an interest in music and join other likeminded people in the perfect, purpose built facilities that C.M.S have to offer.
This opportunity is available to almost everyone however there will have to be a minimum age requirement of 12 years of age as part of the terms of the funding assistance.
The financial assistance will apply to the 'Introduction to your instrument' courses only and will not be applicable to any other course held at C.M.S. Candidates will not be obliged to continue at the school following the end of the ‘introduction to your instrument’ course but will be expected to complete this initial course. As the funding will be coming from an external source you may be expected to fill out a simple application form.
The instrument the candidate may wish to pursue will have to be supplied by the individual and is not the responsibility of C.M.SFurther information can be obtained from the C.M.S directly, please see ‘Contacts’

"The Guitar School in Hastings has been entering students for the Registry of Guitar Tutors examinations with great success over the past few years. Examiners have always found candidates from ‘The Guitar School’ to be extremely well-prepared for their guitar examinations and this is a reflection of the high standard of teaching provided by teachers at the school.” - Tony Skinner, Registry of Guitar Tutors Examinations Director.
